Maths Curriculum

In January 2020, we launched a fantastic resource at The Bishops' called Power Maths.

Please read the parent letter and presentation below which will give you some information about what Power Maths is and how it supports your child's Mathematical learning using a mastery approach whilst developing their growth mindset and confidence.

If you want to understand the approaches we use in school to support your child at home, please have a look at our calculation policies below. These help to outline the key methods and vocabulary that we use; ensuring consistency both at home and throughout the school from EY's to Y6.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak to your child's class teacher or Miss Burnett, our Maths Lead.
