Planting for Polio

20th October 2016

Today the school Councillors and the Green Ambassadors  planted crocus corns at the Heron Tennis Centre in Newquay. This was a very special event organised by Newquay Rotary club to help people around the world who do not have the opportunity to be inoculated against the disease. Money raised from today's event has allowed 3200 people the opportunity to be vaccinated against the disease.

We helped plant 5000 corns (some of which are in the planters in the sensor garden) so look out for some beautiful purple flowers as you walk around school or the local area.
